Eurovent highly vapour-permeable roof membranes are based on long durability, four-layered polypropylene fibre laminate with the layer of highly vapour-permeable and water-resistant function film as well as in-between micro-fibres layer.
Top quality of polypropylene fibres stands out for its high-resistant characteristics with relatively low weight. It is a result of excellent, very dense layout of many extremely thin and long fibres. The laminate of such fibres with low weight e.g. 100 g/m2 achieves the resistance parameters typical for membranes of weight above 120 g/m2. Moreover, in result of quality fibres and best function films application, water-pressure resistance of Eurovent membranes is distinctive and above accepted standards (resistance up to 6-8 of water column).
Use of micro-fibres that form protection layer between the film and fibre substantially upgrades the function film life-span and membrane strength. Additionally, in case of accidental mechanical membrane damage this application forms absorbing layer that is capable of storage of significant amount of water (up to 300% of weight). The laminate produced in the process called “thermo-bonding” guarantees long life-span of multi-layer roof membrane and prevents it from delaminating.
